Good grouping
« on: September 10, 2021, 02:32:54 PM »
I did a bit of scope changing the other week . I swapped scopes between the HW100 and the AA s510. I now feed them both with Daystate Sovereigns. And , boy , how accurate they both are. I,m talking cloverleafs at fifty yards. Indoors mind. I used the HW at HFT for the first time three weeks back and equalled my second best score. I,ve since fitted a hamster and adjustable butt plate in an attempt to improve my scores. I just wish i could improve my eye sight because despite buying new glasses the floaters are still causing huge problems with focusing on a target. At my advanced age i guess i,ll just have to live with it  :'(

I put the Hawke Vantage SF on the Air Arms and a Hawke Digi Nite eye on the Weihrauch. I used the HW on the HFT yesterday and , i have to say , the glass seems much better than the Vantage. I could see the targets in the dark reaches of the wood much better. I scored the same as last time - 48 .
