Bloody joke innit!!! ::)

I recall seeing James May driving one of those in a Top Gear challenge, through St Petersberg IIRC.

Thankfully I've never seen one in real life.....which is a good thing!!!! ;D

Just seen it for the first time, I'm ashamed to say I was thinking that it would be perfect for me, if I could afford one.

garaged except when driving. i would need to charge it once per week, remember it only does about 50 miles per charge, going to the club twice per week and a trip to one of the big super markets maybe twice per week (the club is about 6 miles each way, Tesco and Morrisons are both 3 miles each way) there is only me and the cargo version can hold gun bags and other bags with shooting stuff.

Uggs.......it'll get turned over by the yobs whilst you're waiting at traffic lights, parked outside the club, or at the supermarket!!!

I reckon it'll get blown over in a stiff breeze, just like a wheelie bin! ::)

Seriously......think logically dood......how many of these have you seen on the road?

Probably not many, if none at all. That's coz they are unpopular, and they are understandably unpopular for a number of reasons.

That means resale values would tumble like a lead brick too.

Have you searched for an insurance quote on one yet? My guessing it would be higher than a popular model of petrol engined small supermini type car. For example, a C1, 107, Aygo, Citigo, UP etc etc etc.

Minty versions of some of those cars with FSH and 12 months MOT are on ebay from between £500 to £1,000.

Those enjoy zero road tax (or £20 a year at most), and can do mpg's in the mid 50's or better. Range is around 450+ miles (compared to the measly 62 of the Twizy) meaning you can go wherever you want, when you want, without be restricted by how far the car will go before a 3.5hr recharge is needed (24hrs for a full charge). They can also carry 4 people, top 100mph, and would be safer in a crash.

IMHO, the only reason for that Twizy thing is to make a fashion/eco statement, or wanting to be different by going left field.....coz I can't for the life of me think of a valid logical reason to have one over the cars I've mentioned already. It's all Con's, with only one Pro.

Obviously all of the above is my personal opinion.....each to their own n all that!!

Looks like a gimmick vehicle you'd hire for the day something similar to the Tata Nano.
