What 18.1 grain pellet were you using Sean?

Power will rise in hot weather.....are you gonna tweak it down slightly?

If it's consistent, why disturb things with a strip down mucker?

You know the saying......if it ain't broke, don't fix it!! ;)

Personally I'd just tweak it down an 1/8th of a turn on the transfer port and retest.

just seems low for the aa fields but looking at the aa read out the fps spread is very very close.
i don't have a host site to post pics to here.
guns are set with aa fields so 16 grns so they will be over with 18 grns that is why i set min with the latter..
my gun shop does the police gun checks so will ask them but will turn it down a tad

For hosting pictures i,ve gone with Postimage.org.  All of my pics are placed with Picasa . I then transfer them to Postimage then onto the forum. Hope that helps.

i did have a host but they seem to gone so has all my pics :( i noticed on here some of my pic links not working :(

i did a breakdown last night took out the 2 screws at the rear of the top section and the hammer housing just separated a little  :o the rear bolt to it was lose.

took it apart cleaned it, reassembled it and did a power test no ajustments was done, just a strip and clean but the power is now for 18.1 grn jsb pellet

highest 11.6
lowest 10.9
8fps spread between highest and lowest.
50 shots 1st shot 11.2 ft lbs last shot 10.9ft lbs so therefore 5 fps spread shot 1 - 50 and a spread of 1-3 fps shot to shot from each mag

1 st mag 11.2 ft lbs ave
2nd mag 11.4 ft lbs ave
3rd mag 11.4 ft lbs ave
4th mag 11.4 ft lbs ave
5th mag 11.1 ft lbs ave

so with all 5 averages added up i now get average of 11.3ft lbs ( and i know it looks like 11.4 above but add up it is 11.3. so can turn it up a bit if need be ...

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Air Arms fields i get 1ft lb lower readings ;) :)
highest 10.9ft lbs
lowest 9.9ft lbs

50 shots 1st shot 10.2 ft lbs last shot 9.9ft lbs so therefore 5 fps spread shot 1 - 50 and a spread of 1-3 fps shot to shot from each mag.
1st mag 10.2ft lbs ave
2nd mag 10.4ft lbs ave
3rd mag 10.5ft lbs ave
4th 10.6ft lbs ave
5th mag 10.3ft lbs

all 5 averages added gives 10.5ft lbs average

and same fps spread averages ;) :)
