Old guns
« on: January 23, 2019, 10:02:03 PM »
Evening folks,

I've been given four air rifles, a BSA super meteor, a BSA meteor , a Diana Mod 27 (i think) and a webley Hawk mk 2.

My plan was to restore them all. However after looking on chambers, and knibbs for spare parts.
It turns out that two of the rifles the parts I need they haven't got. Two parts are available, but the cost just for the parts are 65 per gun, I've only seen them sell for 120 in RFD.

What would you do with them?

I too have received some of the same kind of Air Guns in the past, I give them to Kid's I meet Hunting where I use to Hunt when only one or two have Airgun's or have a Shit Gun They have to Keep Pumping (Air Leaking out) all Day long trying to Hunt and Shoot Something. Remember KID's are the Future of Our Great Sport! Keep Them in Wood's Hunting away from the Asswipe Dopers & Thieves & Raper's and Killers...And You'll Have a Good Boy Sir.

Thank's for Reading This Old Yankee, that Gives a Sweet $hit for Our Precious Kid's.....ATVB.....Franky  ;D

Personally I'd hang on to them Steve, whilst advertising for the spares you need on airgun forums such as this, or in the Airgun World or Airgunner magazines.

There will be loads of the bits you need floating around......it's just a case of finding out who has what you need, and many fellow airgunners will be happy to supply secondhand spares to help an old obsolete airgun get a second breath.
