By the way the seal is not leather, it has a synthetic seal that disintegrates over time so be careful.

Since posting that comment I then found out the piston seal is indeed plastic and not leather, but as you say Mick, it reportedly isn't the best.

I was told these rifles benefit massively from the fitment of a Venom/V-Mach PowrPulse piston seal, which greatly improves efficiency compared to the other brands of aftermarket seals that are available.

Hi folks.

Well after some discussions with people I decided to get the rifle serviced. I had thought it may have been a mistake considering how long it took (3 weeks). After i took it i wanted to know everything that need some attention. An estimated price of 75 to 95 which i thought was just rediculous.

At which point I said minimal to keep as original as possible. Next I was told he had broken the spring. Luckily he knew someone with an original (sceptical) but free.

Piston seal and breach seal replace as 1 had crumbled to dust lol. So after 3 weeks I now have her back. My partner never having tried an air rifle before wants to try it before we decide on selling it or start going to a local range lol. Personally I would like to sell it but must give my partner a chance.

Rifle is now holding at 10.3 but is still bedding in the new seals.

Vintage.

My mk1 127 had a Plastic Trigger, Plastic Piston Seal. Got a Parachute Seal and FAC Extra Spring, and a Alu. mk2 Trigger from Canada(500fps or less Land) without FAC. Great results Much more Power. Alu. Trigger is the Ball's. Spring about 5' Long. Made 127 best Springer I ever Shot bar none. Almost 20 flb w/14.75 H&N English Round Nose(the Pellet I Hunt with) in the 127. The Springer Artillery Hold dose not work. Have to hold Strong and in to Shoulder hard And Shoot's like a Dream, Squirrel Medicine Machine.....Franky
