FWB 127 is My Favorite Springer of all Time, Quality, Smooth, Accurate, Plenty Power in FAC, Much Lighter than HW 80. 127 Much Loved in the Springer Crowd. Yank's like the HW80 FAC better only for the Big Power. Have Both Guns in .22 FAC and the HW80 stays Home, My FWB 127 Killed way more Gray's,Coon's,Rabbit's,Fox's,Crow's and anything Dumb enough to be Seen by My Iron(Plastic) Site's in the Woods, (HW80 Has Better Real IRON Sites,and Power) Sorry for late Post But I'd had My Say.....Franky

I've regretfully never owned a 127, despite having owned all the other 'renowned' springers of the same era. I can recall lusting over the FWB in the home shopping catalogues as a kid....and I was, and remain, to be in awe at the genius simplicity of the cocking link hinge doubling up as the front sling swivel. I'm absolutely staggered that no other manufacturer has copied that absolutely brilliant design so far!!! :o

The 2 main difference on the mark 2 was a metal trigger and the stock had different checkering
Opinion was the my 1 deluxe stock was better quality ...I think the mk2 was approx 1981..Richy

My Early FWB 127 had a Plastic Trigger since replaced by Beeman Airrifles for Free Year's ago now. Auto Safty since Filed 1/4" of Safty Leaver to disable Auto Set. I Think the rest is the Same, standard Stock w/round Pistole grip w/no Checkering or Deluxe w/Cheek piece & Checkering on Pistole grip and Forestock....Franky
