It might be from China via FleaBay but it looks like it might be a good starting point for those wishing to eperiment:

DIY Night Vision Scope with IR Torch and LCD Monitor for Rifle Scope.

Been looking into this and although it is a cheap way into NV you can make your own kit up of better quality and to suit your personal outfit /needs for this amount or even less , take a look on "you tube NV " kits .

I can remember (not that long ago) when NV kit first became widely available to the masses.......if you wanted to buy into a piece of the action you were looking at around 1,500 + for Gen2.........even more for Gen3......up to 3.5K!!!

And being honest, even that 'cutting edge' technology was rubbish back then, and is completely eclipsed by the digital stuff available these days....especially at the prices they're being offered for now.

So, you now have the best quality NV ever, for the least amount of money ever......you guys have never had it so good!!! ;) 8)

people complain about Chinese as it did use to be inferior quality in anything you bought back 30 or even 15 years ago particularly when compared to Japanese quality typically lenses as in cameras , bino's , scopes etc and they copied just about everything but now their quality has improved and frankly they have brought prices down to a level that people can afford to buy wether that be airguns, machinery , tools or technology .

Yep , the Hawke's comments sum it up perfectly.

I think all but one of my scopes is Chicom , a couple of those were absolutely dirt cheap , but still fantastic glass and operation , for what they are.
I plink , therefore I am.

Again, I have to agree.  ;)

The majority of my scopes are Chinese made too.....and they work well above what you'd expect for the asking price.

OK, they're not going to match the world's best brands of scope for optical performance.......but the difference is only small......unlike the huge difference in price! 8)

Are they off the Bay Seagate , I am looking for a scope with short range clear focus around 10-15 ft perhaps 20 ft at most as its for ratting and suitable for night shooting in a compact unit which will also fair well with IR unit .

I'd suggest a Hawke Airmax 2-7x32AO.......has all the features you're requiring (and more), all for about 35. ;)

Cracking 'lil scope. :)

I'm in sort of agreement with Gambo . Great scope for little money.
