I quite like the Compatto.

Has anyone got one? If so, what's it like? How many shots per fill does it give?
..........so I packed up and went to the pub.

If I had spare funds I'd buy one,the huma reg us reliable too, there are 2 at our competitions used for Hft,they handle brilliantly and shoulder really well, accuracy is very good too
I think a good addition to there range and should be well received

Don't they do a model called the  Bantam  too?

>200 shots from a single fill at .22?

I'm starting to like the sound of these Brocock guns.

I had a Compatto , briefly , last year. Unfortunately, as with every rifle I buy , it was faulty. It wouldn,t take a fill. It went back to Daystate and they sent it back , saying they had rebuilt it. Lying bastards. They hadn,t touched it. I know because I marked several components and and it still would not fill. It was a common fault which has , I believe , been sorted. It handled nice , had a good trigger and was smooth to cock. Yesterday at Cambridge HFT a guy had a new Bantam, the first i,d seen in the flesh. I asked him what it was like and the answer was " the jury,s out on this one , i,ll know when i,ve had it a bit longer " I like the idea of the high shot count, ideal for ratting sessions. But, it,s a Daystate product and, given their lousy aftersales reputation, i,d be reluctant to buy one. Pity, cos I like the look of it.

Good Man.

Brocock made/make some fantastic rifles........personally not fussed on these 'bullpup' type rifles they seem to favour lately though.

You don't have much luck, eh?
