The Best Driving Album In The World. Ever!
« on: December 22, 2011, 08:00:48 PM »
So the idea of this thread is to give me what you think are the best driving songs in the world. I have a round trip of 600 miles to do on a monthly basis and i need to gather together the best of the best to keep me entertained on my journey.
I already have a selection of my favourites and it would be nice to see who has the same tastes as me.
I don't do Rap! Nuff said there.
My Car Cd player can play Mp3 format so i am looking for around 60 songs...
Go for it guys!! Keep me entertained  ;D

Although I dont drive im often out either walking or on my bike. I have a lot of songs pretty much all rap :D If I had to recommend an album it would be Hell The Sequal deluxe edition by Bad Meets Evil (eminem and royce da 5'9)

11 great tracks on there but if I had to recommend anything other than rap it would be bullet for my valentine. My favourite songs of their would be Last Fight, Tears dont fall and waking the demon. A caution however they are a rock/screamo band.
I live in the space between illusion and reality.

Rock is my thing baby! Screamo i can cope with, christ i was a mad megadeth fan in my time. But father time does take his toll on both hearing and sanity. I will listen to all recommendations... Weather they make the final cut... Hmmm dunno about that but keep em coming!!

Once the final list is established i hope to have gathered the definitive Planet (Rock) Airgun Forum Album.
Cheers  8)

One of my fave driving albums is AC/DC's Back in Black....not a duff track on it.

Another blinder is again AC/DC, and quite appropriately for a great driving album it's called 'Highway to Hell' but this time it has Bon Scott (R.I.P) on the mike.

If you want bood you got it... Whole lotta Rosie Live... A Rock Classic
On the Album!
No1

Back in black is a masterpiece. Following the death of Bon Scott everyone thought that was the end of AC/DC.
Stand up the Geordie God that is Brian Johnson. Back in Black was released to great acclaim and has become the seminal rock album of all time.
BTW Brian Johnsons Cousin used to own Johnsons Van rental in Otley, my home town. I met Brian whilst delivering newspapers on my round and he signed my paper bag...

Nearly all those tracks are on a compilation album called 'American Heartbeat'......even though there are bands featured on it which aren't American!!!!

Anyway, it's a cracker of an album, and the tracks are highly recommended, as Rays says.

I had a dig through my collection the other day to restock my multi player. As a blast from the past I've now added a Poison and a Macc Lads cd for easy listening on my way to work.
Stupid boy.
