Missed a good bargain on AGF,a classic Tasco scope.I was after the mount that came with it.
Some one got a good deal.

OK fellas thought you might have seen it ::)

It was a Tasco 1.75-5 x 40 FM ,not the best IMO but nice & clear optics FOV is a bit small for a scope with this mag but makes up for it with the crisp image you get with Japenese glass.

What i was more interested in was the Apel one piece,all for 45.00 inc post.

Jap Tasco Eached Glass> Buy when you see them, the 1 3/4 X 5 OA is Best glass I ever Looked through, nice small Scope for PCP in Barn's. The 6x24 is outstanding also. never laid Eye's on 3x9.
or 4x12. Make sure i'ts says made in Japan For/By Tasco on Scope and You'll be Fine. Diamonds are still found out there Too: but also are just as hard to find.....Franky

I here you Franky & the later AG Tesco range are superb.

If they reproduced these with a Milldot ret & the same  spec & build quality they would be an instant success. :)

I agree with that 100%.

Hawke replicated some of the Tasco range with Milot rets in the early 00's, but those were Chinese produced scopes and sadly not quite up to the quality of the original Japanese produce Tasco's.

While they do a more than adequate job (I know coz I have some) the optical and build quality just isn't the top-est banana.
