Yes, its bloody frustrating. I only have two rifles that use probes and two that use snap on type. All the rest and those I build have Air Arms type fillers. I much prefer their system because its safe and o rings can easily be inspected and changed. With a probe its all too easy to slice off a piece of o ring as it passes over the hole that leads to the fill valve.

They should have all Probes w/ Foster Male Machined on End so you need Nothing to hook up to Foster Quick- Connect Female on Your HPA Pump or Tank, So You don't have to go through all the $tupid $hit to fill Your PCP and that's just My Thought's to Fix the Mess Easily w/no Cost to the Customer.....Franky

Ps. Airgun Company's need to sell Retro-Fit Probe's w/Foster QC on end at Little or no Cost for the People who Bought there Guns before they FIX'ed the Problem They caused in the first Place.....

I agree it's a faff with all the different connector fittings these days. Maybe the airgun industry out to take a leaf out of the mobile phone manufacturer's book when they standardised the charger plugs.

I removed the centre valves from a load of the old style Air Arms male inlets, and fitted one to each and every one of my different probes and snap connectors, so I don't need to keep unscrewing various probes/female connectors off and on my hose all the time, they just now snap into the old style female AA connector which is constantly attached to it.

Not a cheap option I grant you, but certainly the least time consuming......and also the one which gives the least ball ache too!
