FAC designed airguns do run really well at lower power............smooth, refined, and barely ticking over. ;)

But despite that, I'd still leave it there if it's a .177. :-\

I've been doing abit of reading the forums on these. General consensus is that they need stroking down or liner and reduced piston diameter.

I remember a hw80 I got from a car booty, didn't have a chroney at the time but would estimate it would have been around 18-20 ftlb as it would shoot through both sides of my Dads shed-after my dad confiscated it off me :D and had it sorted with a uk spec spring ,I found it much harder to shoot straight. Abit shit really.
I plink , therefore I am.

I found some shop that had a Webley Alecto in stock for 160...............212.99 at the local gun shop.

Is it brand new?  If so, then there is no reason to travel to check it's condition.

I've tried a recoilless Airking......and it was bloody superb!

It said it was new and it was a shop on GunStar, rather than a private seller. As per I can't find the original link to suss it out. Just seemed cheap, even for second hand, which it supposedly wasn't.

Careful now, scammers have been known to frequent gunstar as it gives a false sense of security to some buyers.

Not saying this isn't legit but I'd want to see some pics sent to my phone direct, some with proof that the pistol exists and is where they say it is.- say a pic of it in the window of a shop with the signage above visible, or even a handwritten notes dated and signed in the pic.
