Errrrm, are you sure Blerky? ???

I'd prolly have a go just out of curiosity, but it sounds a bit gimmicky/quirky.

Went out on the bike yest afternoon, and had a pint of Estrella Damm on the way back....wondering if you were still quaffing the same on hols Blerkster.

Later, after the club it was back on the Doom Bar.

I understand your concerns, Gambo.

But I find stouts and (to some extent) porters can carry a "flavour" and still deliver on the qualities and expectations of a "standard" ale. Having said that, the previous one (the vanilla thing) didn't work for me and I didn't blame the added flavouring, it was just a bit lacking in body.

The flavours in this one are subtle and DO enhance the traditional burnt/dark/malty flavours of the stout.

A nice warm mug of milky water, it's what I drink instead of tea after 9pm in an attempt to keep caffeine to a minimum before bedtime.

Milky water.........sounds yuk Mike!! :-\

I've been enjoying summat called Ardmore this week, whilst watching the TT coverage. 8)

It's a Highland single malt whisky from the Teachers distillery........but to me it's style borders on being an Islay, as it's quite peaty and smokey.

Whatever, it's quite delish, tasty, smooth, and without any hint of burn.....and an absolute bargain at only 20 from ASDA.
