new beeee
« on: July 27, 2014, 01:08:49 PM »
:)  Hello I hope I am posting this right I am Aaron I have been reading some of your stuff since I have been here.  I use to live in Alaska and now am living in Japan.  I have found your sight very interesting as it talks about some of my favorite things.  While in Alaska I belonged to the traditional bowman's club and use to make my own bows and did some hunting and lots of fishing.   Since I have been here I have started to acquire pellet guns.
In fact in 4 months I have spent way to much money on air guns.   I am joining in part because some of you know about a Japanese gun called the Sharp and the Heirinkan.   I have been able to get a few of these Ace hunter, Victory, Deluxe, Innova, innova II, innova deluxe, pan, Ace target  and UD II.   I recently bought a victory that has checkering on it just like its counter part the ACE has anyone ever seen that on a victory before.
If my victory needs parts where can I get them since the Sharp dealers here only carry parts for the ace and ace side pumper.   I also have had a Victory 645 and now saw one that is a victory 615 how old is that is it worth buying.
Did this go in the right area of the post for newcomers

Thanks in advance

Aaron

Welcome aboard Aaron, nice to have you onboard.
Unfortunately I'm not up on sharpes rifles- the last time I shot one was over 20 years ago. I do remember  that my friend who owned it used it regularly for rabbit hunting. He loved it and has still got it as far as I know.
Anyway , nice to make your aquaintence.

Hello Aaron, and a very warm welcome to our Planet. ;)

Geez, that's a great introduction, and a great collection of airguns you have.  8)

A member at the club has a few Sharps, so I'll ask him about spares availability, and pass the info onto you.

In the meantime, thanks for taking the time to tell us about yourself, and please don't feel shy about joining-in with any of the threads on here, we're a friendly bunch who will offer you the warmest of greetings.

atb, Gareth.

Hi Aaron.

You've certainly landed on the right planet if you want a good mix of advice, humor and general all round support.
I assume your gallivanting across the globe is due to work? -Anything interesting?

Regards, Nic.

Welcome aboard fella. Great introduction too. I had a sharp inova for a while but all that pumping for one shot soon got me bored of it so traded it in for a hw 80 springer.

I have purchased 3 FWB 300s's in the past 4 months, as well as an FX 2000 and a couple of Sheridan's however was not to impressed with the Sheridan's. I am looking at a FWB P44,  The price seems right.

Need to get a feel for what are the best ones to pick up.  If I told you how many I had bought in the last 4 months I would be a little ashamed.  The guys in the club say I have an addiction to pellet guns. :'(   The pumps are handy when you are in the wilderness for a few weeks at a time.  I hope some day to go back to Alaska and retire.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Aaron

Hey, you guys from the other side of the pond have got it too good!! ::)

Imagine doing all that hard pumping, but then only be rewarded with a measly 12ftlbs for your efforts!!! :-\
