about time
« on: January 20, 2013, 08:35:35 AM »
Most of you know that i came a cropper on my yz450f when the front break decided to lock up without even touching the lever. Resulting in a bounce down the tarmac fracturing my wrist smashing my knee taking a fair bit of meat off my knee and forearm. It wasn't healing at all so went to the docs Fri morning and got told i had a bad infection and a tad of blood poisoning. No wonder i couldn't move my arm and leg. He gave me some antibiotics that resemble a vitamin pill for a horse and told me to take am and pm. Yesterday i still felt poo but woke up this morning with the trots and thank the lord my arm and leg actually worked. Good job as i had to run to the toilet with a feeling like i had a bad vindaloo and a bad pint of Guinness lol so at least im finally on the mend  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Roll on next week i can get back out shooting and riding the bike when iv sorted te break of course  ::)

Just about all painkillers and antibiotics have 'side effects' - these vary greatly from people to people - in my case, it usually affects the natural rythms and plumbing!  :o
Take care Dave - we don't bounce like we used to - I came off my mountain bike cycling home from work one night on sheet ice - did the splits big time - I remember having the air knocked out of me for a few minutes, lying on the cold cycle path thinking - this is going to hurt tomorrow.
Next day, I could hardly walk!  ;)

Well known effect of anti-biotics - kills all the friendly bugs in your gut and gives you the runs. My advice - top up on those yoghurts with the live bugs in, that will stop it.
