Mozambican Chilli Sauce

This is a basic recipe my parents got in Mozambique from a rustic restuurant on the beach.

2 cups chillies (red or green, or both, top and tailed)
2 onions
2 gloves garlic
a thumb size or garlic
olive oil ( you can use sunflower oil)

Simply blend all the ingredients except the olive oil - I prefer it as almost a puree, some like it chunky.

Place it in a pot and make sure the mixture is covered in oil ( this uses alot of oil) and on low cook it for 30mins or until the chillies are softened.
This makes plus minus two honey jars and the longer its left in the fridge the better.

This is awesome in stews, mac and cheese i put it on toast with bovril and a boiled egg.
There where seve dwarves sitting in a bathtub, they all started feeling Happy, so Happy jumped out.
