Im amazed you dont see,Brocock Six Contours 22 doing better, such a dinky little Air Rifle.and very good to boot.
In this day and age with people wanting to be more discreet with Air rifle, you think it would sell in shed fulls, will get first in about shot count, more than enuff out to 40yard hunting shots, and if for Rats/ plinking/target de tune to around 10ftlb.180bar sweet spot piece of piss to pump that small tube up, any way as is my Ultras.
That my next Air Rifle.

Nice to see a 97 in third,I don't miss my soul-less hw100 tbh,I have noticed a surge in people selling the 100's .I'm looking forward to Saturday to collect my second 97, this time a different flavour,a kt with a vmach kit fitted,I don't think I'll ever go back to a PCP,too much hassle.i shot it on the weekend, didn't get on with the scope but its fantastic,50 yard spinners very acheivable.

Interesting to see you use the term "Soul-less" Shakey. While I love my HW100 it is very clinical in how it goes about doing it's job.

However, when I first started at looking for a new rifle last year, I was sold on the character and fell for the Daystate Classic but found that I didn't feel confident with it.

When using the HW100 on the other hand, while I didn't "love" the looks, or indeed had any real passion for it, the way it shot had me convinced in a split second.

Just goes to show how emotive elements can make so much difference in people.

Clinical is another word for it,no doubt they are fantastic consisent rifles, but for me I get more enjoyment shooting springers, especially getting asked how do you charge that? And how are you knocking down all those targets with that?,my really expensive target rifle won't do that lol

I am a HUGE fan of Brocock PCPs, but can't help to think that Brocock's early days in the gun trade being involved with the 'fun gun' sector of the market, has tarnished their name and reputation in the minds of the shooting (buying) public.

If those people would only put their ill conceived premonitions aside, and actually try a Brocock PCP, they would be staggered at just how good they are.
