Title: Which pellet ?
Post by: Baggawind on June 01, 2018, 11:33:22 AM
The chap who now owns the Mk3 Webley I was given is having a problem finding a suitable pellet for it. I know the bores on Brit guns were 5.56 in those days, slightly larger than Euro ones so, has anyone found a pellet that might suit the mk3 ? I have a few original Eley Wasps he could have but he needs a long term solution .

I've had a similar problem with my Webley Osprey.

I used to use the blue 5.6 WASPS through it, but quality of that pellet droppped when Rothery tookover production.

I now use 5.56 H&N Field Target Trophy with great results.
