I once saw an Air Arms 400 series in Keens Guns that had been filled with a pump that had a faulty gauge.....the end of the tube near the filler valve ballooned out at 230bar.

It hadn't burst, but the cylinder was scrap.

Apparently it's been designed-in to do that.....but to my mind, 230bar is quite a low threshold. :-\

It need's to be 4500 psi/310bar Safely First. I filled My Benji Marauder to 4500psi (3K Max fill) still Safe, called Crosman and Helped by Walking Me through it.....Dry Fire down to 3K than Fill up to 3500 and Shoot w/Pellet's down to 3K  and I'ts Ready to go Hunting. Sounds Strange  but It Worked out Well for My M-Rod. I take My Hat off to Crosman Service (The Best there is in the Gun Industry).....Franky
