Interesting.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a few springers feel abit slammy with those light pellets.

SSP....SuperSonic Pellets

No good for us here in the UK Franky.............as the sonic crack they produce as they break the sound barrier will make our SILENCERS ineffective!!!  ;D ;D

that sounds a good idea.

Errrrrr, I don't!!! :P

Disregarding the mechanical sympathy aspect for a second, anything being ignited as a propellant may make the airgun be then deemed to be a firearm, which would require an FAC to be held. Obviously this could be a can of worms, and land you in the deepest of shit!

On another forum, I once posted in a thread about filling the crater of hollow point pellets with the chemical scraped off of match heads so that they would 'flash/flare' on impact. However, it was then brought to my/our attention this could then be deemed as 'exploding ammo'.....a big No No from a legal point of view.

So, being the responsible forum owner that I am :o, I'd think it's only proper to suggest that you don't try any of the above, for fear of breaking any laws, and getting your collar felt by Plod. ;)  I Thank You. :)
