Errrr, not of the top of my head.....I'd have to look in the John Walter books to confirm.

I recall the non-carbine 80 was out way before then, as was the HW35 and 35E, but not sure about the 'Safari'(?).

The HW35 Safari is a limited edition with green stock.

Is the stock laminated?

It is a Beech stock with green stain Gambo.the later Jubilee HW35 KLS has a blue laminate stock & the rare HW80K  Bavaria has corn/brown laminate.

I've seen HW35's with green laminated stocks, but don't ever recall seeing one with a plain beech stock stained green. :-\

The 35 Safari had a matt finish to the action ,the sales pitch called it Parkerised.

I think you have seen the 55 Jubilee or KLS Laminate which is blueish green & black .The 95 had a green laminate as well.

IJ has a Safari in his pics. ;)

Are you colour blind ? ;D

Yes the action is a silver colour on the blue but not the Safari.

Just noticed my last post......The silver acton is on the Black Silence model, the action is blue on the blue laminate KLS but not the 1986 Safari.

Any way have you found out what year the HW80K was launched?

I'm positive I've seen brand new green laminated 35's down in Keens guns about 10 years ago. ???

IIRC, they also came with a free Weihrauch branded Victorinox Swiss Army Knife.

This is the HW35 Safari mentioned. Its my least favourite '35 with its flat green stock and matt black metal finish. This is the only one Ive ever seen in the flesh so snapped it up when it appeared in my local gun shop just to add it to my '35 collection.
