FTT Green .22 10gr gave the Most Power in FAC.

In a 12flb Test from U.K. I saw FTT Green gave over 12flb(HOT)

Anyone gone Hot(12+flb) w/ H&N HFT Green 10gr.....Franky

Being light weight, these could potentially put a springer that's running close to the legal limit over 12ftlbs, but I doubt the same would be the same for a PCP, as those favour (are more power efficient) when using heavier pellets.

Great link , very interesting.

Looking at the results , it's now to worry about - the jsb 14.3 make the most power with the 10.0 zink 2'nd and 21.1 cuda 3rd ,with not much between them .

I've tried the hn green 177 at 5grn , out of hw,aa and bsa , never anything other than unremarkable with poor bc.
Also tried 10.grn  Thunderbolts , I think they were a pax pellet . Best results from 22 hw barrels, around  3/4 inch ete at 25 yards. Not good but ...

I plink , therefore I am.

    17.50 USD for 200. About 13 quid :(.

HN must think we're made of money.

Has anybody had good results with any type of non lead ammo?

My old mate bought some Sabot pellets , I believe they were called Prometheus , I may well be wrong though , it was 25 years ago.
They were terrible for accuracy in both his Sharp Innova and my own hw80.  The good bit was they'd shoot straight through car doors , which seemed important at the time. ;D

Sabo and Prometheus were different pellets Nick.

The Sabo were two piece.....with the inner and out being assemble in a pen like device prior to loading. When fired, the outer 'cage' separated and fell away from the smaller inner bullet like projectile, which then was left to travel to the target.

The Prometheus was also a two part pellet, but it was ready assembled, and couldn't be taken apart. A steel (later an alloy) head was pressed into a plastic skirt....but when fired the whole thing made it's way downrange.

Both were nowt more than novelty pellets at best....the Sabo especially commanding high prices these days as a very collectable piece of airgun memorabilia.
