Favourite airgun.
« on: November 18, 2017, 04:43:49 PM »
So my little sweet peas , what's your favourite airgun and why.  You can only choose stuff you have owned or have had a lot of experience using , so no answers involving stuff you've used for just an afternoon or summut exotic you admire in your local gun shop.
 Fire away... :)

I'm going to say my Falcon, I'm playing it safe ;) (I've got 3 falcons, a fn 8 pistol, a fn 19 single shot and a prairie) all are stupid simple and stupidly accurate ;D

I'm with you Gambo. Torn between my .22 DS Huntsman Regal and .177 HW100S. I love shooting the Hunstman as its so quiet and accurate. It was good before but now it has been fitted with an Airtech regulator and generally tuned by them as well, its way better. But, accurate as the DS is, the HW100 is more accurate. Hitting single pellet groups at 40m and not much bigger at 50m. I find myself using the DS for ratting; I zero it for 30m and the secondary zero is 10m which seems to be the distance most of my rats are shot. And I use the HW for everything else because it is flat at 20 and 30 and the holdover for 40 and 50m is so predictable. Right now I'm shooting more rats than anything else, so I guess I have to say the DS. But come the spring, when the bunnies are out, I expect it will be the HW. The agony and the ecstasy of choice!

Sorry guys , the choice is one gun only , we don't want to hear of your ''also rans'' and ''torn betweens''  :)  .   So consider your choices carefully .

Ooooooooh, 'ark at her!!!! ::)

OK then...if it has to be just one airgun, I'll reluctantly name the S310/410 ever so slightly, and I mean slightly, above the FX2000K as my favourite airgun.

 I think we're all in abit of internal conflict and emotional turmoil with choosing just the one :) .

 I'm experiencing abit of cognitive dissonance deciding between a stout and chunky English 177 under lever against a certain German 22  break barrel carbine. Decisions decisions. :)
