Meet the new Boss, same as the old Boss ( won,t get fooled again ). With the Chink barrel it,s as accurate at 21 yards, as my R-10  :o

I  love the simplicity of your guns, Baggy. But the hidden engineering is beyond my little brain.

Kudos, mate.
..........so I packed up and went to the pub.

To be honest, i,m glad it,s finished , it took so long to make and was driving me nuts. Luckily, the valving worked first time as did the hammer set up. I didn,t have to alter anything , normally a process that takes up a lot of time. It came out at 7.9fpe straight away, same as the first. Talk about luck. The trigger is a delight and cocking it is very easy. All in all i,m quite pleased with the end result. Hope the new owner likes it.

He is. I delivered it tonight and he got to test it straight away.  Lovely tight groups at 25 yards. He,s really chuffed with it. Apart from the reg in the bottle, there,s not much to go wrong. It has only one O ring and that,s a five minute job to change. He now has six of my airguns and none have ever gone wrong. Just as well ,cos I guarantee them for life !

How many shots at that power level would you expect it to produce?

I,m not sure exactly. The guy who had the first one initially thought he was getting only 50 or so shots but then realised he was reading the gauge wrong. He now says he,s getting around 100. My SMK bottle gun is getting almost that at 12fpe. It is certainly a cheap way of getting a rifle with a regulator. By that I mean converting an SMK QB79.
