Six Nations 2018 Thread

Cracking game between Wales and Scotland yest.......with the final score of 34-7 to Wales being even better. 8)

It was reckoned it was going to be a very close match, what with Scotland's confidence and momentum carrying on from their most recent performances....but it wasn't like that at all, and they were totally dominated by Wales throughout the game. It was only in the final minutes that they managed to get some points on the board, otherwise it would have been an even more embarrassing defeat than it was already.

France V Ireland was very close.......the froggies holding the lead until, and into, two and half minutes of extra play, which was ended by a drop goal by Sexton to give the Paddies a win by two points, with the final score being France 13, Ireland 15.

I wonder if Italy will give england a shock in Rome in a short while. Got my fingers crossed hoping that they will!! ;D ;D

Well england were TRY-umphant over Italy with a final score of 15-46.

Even though they lost, Italy played a cracking game, and so the score is a bit harsh on them. They showed a great improvement in defence, with some excellent attacking when opportunities arose or were created. They also displayed a big improvement in overall fitness.

Whilst it wasn't in much serious doubt that england would win, their overall performance wasn't perfect, and there are elements to their game which will either need to be addressed, or be exploited, by Wales when they meet next weekend at some flea ridden, ploughed field of a shithole venue in South West London. ;D

I sense a slight hint of bias in your reporting there, Gambo.

..........so I packed up and went to the pub.

england V Wales, what a farce!

If ever there was a reason for having more than just one TMO to make decisions, it was right there in that Game!! Grrrrr.

england V Wales

I've got to be honest; I'd have given the Welsh a try when everyone around me was saying it wasn't.

But, having said that, with all things considered, by and large, with the benefit of hindsight, putting everything into perspective ........................... WE WON AND YOU LOST!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

 ;D

IF that obvious and clear try had have been allowed, and Wales had converted it..........then WALES would have won!! ::)

Every single TV commentator and pundit was saying it was a try for God's sake!! How the hell can the opinion on just ONE person overule the opinion of the vast majority.

It's only by the grace of that blind TMO that england were gifted the victory. >:( >:(
