Title: Hello there
Post by: svendogg on December 27, 2017, 08:51:31 PM
Hi ladies and gents, member of other forums, found some interesting info on here via Google searches, that drew me in. Own an SMK SYNSG which I'm looking at doing a basic lube tune and polish on, and an Air Arms s400, which there's not really any reason to ever touch!
Anyway, hi to all, if anyone needs me I'll be browsing ;)

Hello svendogg, and a warm welcome to our Planet. :)

Cracking lil' rifle the SYNSG.....they respond very WELL to a bit of tuning. I've done both of mine, and the accuracy they deliver is above and beyond what one would expect such a modestly priced rifle to offer.

The S400 is another cracking rifle..........so you have a great brace there.

Please don't just browse..........join-in instead!! We're a VERY friendly bunch who welcome's everybodies input on here. ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys/gals, I'm sure to spend a fair bit of time here I think! I'll contribute where I can, and I'll post updates on my synsg progress - got an Aussie piston seal and a few other bits on the way so I'll keep tabs on the progress as I go

Hi 21grains, don't know why the time zone is +5 GMT, I'm from the UK but am in Ireland at the moment for the Christmas break. At the moment I only do back yard plinking and indoor range shooting (AIR near me has a 75 yard range available). All my guns are sub 12ft/lbs, and I don't hunt at the moment but I'm not ruling it out in the future. Got my first rifle, the synsg I bought back a few weeks ago, in about 2011/12, but only recently started taking my shooting more seriously. Building up my technique at the moment, which is why I want to get on the springers a bit more

Isn't the timezone for Ireland is something like -20 years GMT?  ;)

Same could be said about most of Rotherham and Sheffield ::)
