oh well! i tested the new the new bands i made on sat, disaster!
1, it was that bloody cold it was numbing the finger tips as soon as took took off your gloves.
2, the pouch i used was the original one from the bands that were about to snap (see one of the previous post) i reinforced this pouch with a few bits of leather glued to it, (it worked well ;D)
3, the new rubber bands were tested for draw weight in a nice warm house (10.95 kg) i forgot that rubber gets stiffer at low temp, (it was around 0 deg C at the club)
4, the pouch was too short to get any grip on, the old bands had an 8.35 kg pull to a max of 29 inch, the new bands have a 10.95kg pull to 36 inch (my natural draw length) add to that you were griping the pouch right on the line where the reinforcement starts and the cold (numb fingers and stiffer rubber)
result was that it was almost impossible to shoot, im now putting some serious thought into pouch designs

I thought you had a push iron and a trailer, not one of these bloody contraptions!!!  :o :o >>

At least it wasn't the new bands that were spoiling the show Uggs.
