I treated my prosport to a proper service recently, lots of tlc, smoothing and polishing and an interchange of V mach and standard AA parts.
When it went back together I just popped the scope on and did a quick zero.
After 50 or so pellets I then hung some paper up at 37 yards to fine tune the scope.
1 and 2 are 5 shot groups, 3 is 10 shots after horizontal adjustment and 4 is 5 shots after the vertical tweak.
The pellet in the pic is a .177 AA field.
Springer accuracy doesn't get much better than that as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks Barry, It's not just the prosports can do that though!
2 more pics, one from a prosport I had in and "played with" for a friend and fellow AAOC member, 25 yards, again with AA fields, the other is a group from a cometa 300 using daystate 4.53s which I smoothed out and resprung just to use for lamping bunnies.

Not a long range set but very good non the less for that. Shot with my B-40 .22

You can probably tell which was the first bull I shot at. ::)

The card is the one we use for free standing comps at 10 yards but we had finished with that and started on further distances .The targets after this one were not very good because I was using RWS domes and they don't go well much further out than 30 yards in the b-40, she likes the JSB top of the range fodder the greedy little madam. :o

and this one is the 10 yard comp shot with my QB78 PCP long gun conversion in .177

Daystate X2, Prometheus Defiant,.177,  lasered 35 metre range, still air conditions...

HW100 KT, Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums, .22, lasered 30 metre range, 10 mph side wind (southerly) gusting to 20mph, this is from placing scope on gun to zero in 1 magazine!

Probably not the best you've seen but due to the crap weather yesterday and being on holiday untill Saterday today was the only time i had to zero the new gun with the new scope. there was a 8-10 mph wind, but the weather tomorrow going to be crap so i had to do it, i zeroed at 21 yards. Then i rezeroed to 40 yards, in the pics you'll see the grouping's are 10mm, the bottom group being ten shots once zeroed. And the top having shot 20 into the 10mm group, at 21 yards measuring 5cm=2" in old money from the center of the first group gives you a zero at 40 yards, here's the pics: Dave
