Hello mate.

I hear you have no hair and have been turning parts of Scotland into a bike rack?

You'd be hearing about right mate, it was time to bin what hair I had left before I turned into Sme!

I'll give you a call sometime, assuming you haven't changed your No.

All this about the 110 was very interesting, it's a subject close to my wallet.

This shambollock lovely warm fluffiness has a name "Nirvana" it's not materialistic or Viking Heaven but a mental state of mind.

Like when endorphins are released, giving you that "I feel good" feeling. The trouble is
it's like virgin sex, never really quite as good after that, very first time.
Hence Virvana Heaven.
Sorry Vicar, I'm not convinced plastic is better.
The amount of aborted Christmas 110 mistakes for 400, that didn't fill the sack.

Better I think to buy a spanking 100T in .22  second hand, a real Bargain, that's like a Virgin, that's my Nirvana. No compromise.
Only Plink one gun at a time.
I don't want the wife to find out, how many pop guns are under my bed in my room! Only room in the house that's safe from inspection really!!

You wouldn't need a fragrance, if you used .22. The manly musk of a real caliber would have secured you a shoot on your MD's land ;) ;) ;)

Steve....I see you are getting right into the spirit of this Planet, and making yourself at home with the banter. Good on ya Dood. Applauded

Not quite sure where some of that was directed. What mistakes did you have for 400?
However, I've had both HW 100 and 110. The HW100 was a Ben Taylor one off and I loved it but in just the few weeks I've had the 110, I'd have to say I prefer it. Not quite as smooth to cock but it's quieter to cook and the trigger is sublime. Add the fact that its nearly 250 cheaper and it's a no brainer IMO.

Good for you Knuckle - lovely gun and sounds like a bargain as well. Each to their own I say. Personally I'm a bit of a tart and the aesthetics play a bigger part for me than they should. Hence my choice of a Huntsman Regal. I love it, powerful and accurate, but its not everyone's cup of tea. The tactical look doesn't do it for me, but so what? You didn't buy that gun to make me happy! If it feels right to you and it gives you the same sense of occasion every time you put it on your shoulder that I get from my Daystate, then crack on fella.

Rich

PS: but .177 is still for puffs :)

That's not what your wife said last night G.  ;)

Thanks for the comments Richard. Don't get me wrong, as i am also a monumental tart, when it comes to guns.
In terms of looks, there are many other rifles that would get a look in but after shooting the HW100 and 110, I couldn't bring myself to trade total confidence over appearance.

That's not to say other guns don't evoke confidence; "Each to their own". I say.

And of course; If you can find a gun that provides both, you're a lucky man.  ;D
