Well it would appear the shooting god's have conspired against me! I had hoped to post pictures of my new pride and joy, but can't!

Both local gun shops are out of HK95's, one has received half of its weirhauch order, the pcp's but no springers.

That shop then tried to tempt me into buying a HK97 (a very nice gun I admit)  Mmmmm says I, what caliber is, it's .177 says the man.

How rude, he almost lost my custom right there and then. Besmirching my name and calling into question my manly ness .

So I'm now sat twiddling my thumbs waiting until they get one. I don't want to get one off line as I'd much rather build a friendly rapport with a local shop. That way I can if I have any problems with it, take it straight back to them. Also once they get used to me maybe even get a discount (it works at my local bike shop!)

So unfortunately I've nothing interesting to post.

Applause!

I'd agree with that. When i was looking to buy my first gun I was originally looking to buy via the Galactic Network but they were out of stock.

It was a blessing in disguise because I eventually bought from my local shop and I now have a good relationship with the armourer there.

And when i had a problem with my springer (over-powered and going higher, I blame steroids) there was no quibbling when it came to getting it fixed.

Good afternoon fellow air gunners.

So my saga continues, I visited my local gun shot this morning, after spending yesterday looking for an air gun. I did find a weihrauch HW95, but it was a good hour away from me. I also found another shop that had a HW97k, but again that was a good hour away.

So this morning I spoke to the guy in they shop. He said he was expecting a delivery on Friday. Whilst I was there I noticed two other air guns. One a Webley longbow and the other was a Walther Rotex PcP. Both nice looking guns, and I may have just found a Pcp that could tempt me away from the BSA R10.

So do i wait to see if the weihrauch turns up or get the Webley, then later get the Walther?

Any advice on either guns would be extremely welcomed.

Steve, may I ask if you could remind where abouts your from, and are you wanting to buy the 95 locally, or ordering for it to be posted to you?

If it's the latter, I may be able to assist in sourcing a .22 HW95.

I'm live in Congleton, South Cheshire.

I've found a 95 in wirral guns on line, and Cheshire gun rooms had a 97, both are a good 50 mins (on a good day) away from me. I just thought it would be easier if I had a problem with the gun to just pop back to the shop (all of 10mins away)

I have found a few 95's on line, One shop offers delivery to my house, but I have to be in (any day, friday to monday) and I'm not sure how delivery from other shops work.

Specialized stumpjumper pro 2014, what about you?

I do want another, but getting one past the misses, when she knows I want a gun, will be almost impossible.
