Just bought a...
« on: March 23, 2017, 11:31:12 AM »
Webley Vulcan Deluxe  ;D Purchased blind but from JKI so I feel confident it is as good as it sounds. Picking up tomorrow - I'm like a child at Christmas! I've been searching for one of these for a while now. A few Vulcans out there, but seems like not too many Deluxe models. I also had my eye on an Airsporter S but the threat of divorce at the prospect of buying two new guns won the day! I'm hoping it will be there for a while so I can broach the subject once the dust has settled! From there, just HW35 and HW97/77 and a FWB 127 to complete my collection. Just don't tell the missus :)

Just picked my new Vulcan Deluxe up. 200 mile round trip but worth it. Looking forward to using it tomorrow. I have no idea what year it is, or what mk. Can't find a serial number. I'm not clever enough to work out the 'insert image' doo-dad to post some pictures, but if anyone can throw any more light on year and mk I'd be very grateful. The trigger and safety catch are gold (oooh) and there is some engraving on the back of the block and the trigger guard, if that helps (could well be standard on all models as far as I know!).

If anyone has a guide for idiots on how to post pictures, I'll have another go...

Ohh did you buy that lovely Vulcan SE off Duggan by any chances think he's called Karl.

I'll have to find the info but I think its a MK11 about 1984.

I cant post pics on here either. :o

It sounds like the SE model which is a Special Edition.

They did it with the MK1 & MK11 so you need to look at the shape of the trigger & how thick the barrel is.Have a look at the images & see if you can work it out.

To post pics on here on Planet Airgun you will need to have/use an independent hosting site account, such as PhotoBucket, Flickr or whatever (these are free to use, just search on Google).

When you have opened an account and uploaded/stored your pics on there, you simply 'copy' the image code of the pic you want to show and then 'paste' it into your post on here. Seeezy.
