It doesn,t make sense. Today I did a bit more pellet testing with the SMk conversion. Firstly I tried those awful BSA pellets again. Four shots, one hole you couldn,t push a .22 pellet through. Crazy. Then I tried JSB Exact , Air Arms Field, Superdomes, FTT, Superfields, JSB RS. All shot to the left, by quite a margin, and scattered like a shotgun. Then , back to the BSA,s . One hole again. I,ll have to wait for a calm day to find out what they shoot like at, say, 30yards but i,ll lay money on them bettering the others.  :-\ :o ::) I give up.

Sometimes (though very rarely) you find a situation like that.

I once found that cheapo Norica Apache pellets were one holing @ 40 yards out of my .22 BSA SuperTen, and that another time BSA Storm pellets (made by Gamo) did much the same out of a BSA Scorpion I used to own.

I still opted to use AAFs out of both when serious hunting though, for the superior energy retention and greater confidence/peace of mind.
