Original 45 sights
« on: December 18, 2016, 10:25:10 AM »
My 1980 Anniversary 45 has the front sight sat on the top of the dovetail as opposed to the other wrap around version like Gambo's.
I've also seen others with the wrap around version, which is correct ?
Or were both used at the same time.

There are 2 types,i always assumed the wrap around type were the early seventies model but i've had some with these on later 1980's models.
In other adds i've also seen the sight on top,may be they used both?

Could be. My three '45s are dated, 1981, 1981 and 1979 so maybe the later versions did have dovetails sights.
