I go out of my way by about 25 miles to go to this one.

indoor and outdoor air rifle ranges , friendly staff , canteen , have a go shotgun tuition .. you name it they have it .. including quad biking and archery.

ohh and yes I recomend it.

oh and a air rifle club , with comp's etc .. but can't vouch for that as not yet been to anything like that.

Agreed, Mendip is a nice place, I don't go often because I'm lucky enough to have plinking and hunting land close to home. Good for an informal session with friends, I think they do gun hire as well but not sure.
Just don't go when it's breezy, the wind is 3 times stronger up there!
Related to Worzel Gummidge. Would like to slip Aunt Sally a portion.

Yes they have Air rifles to hire and you can re-fill your own there too.
